Needing Help =O )
I haven't been on my computer to go on icq for a long time. Why? Well what happened was my computer was on for one day and I turned it off the next day, than turned it back on and the monitor wouldn't make that beeping noise, it was black still. Okay so that wasn't working than I closed the computer and waited for 3 hours and turned it on again and it didn't work. Can you guys help me? Do you know what's wrong with my computer? A virus? The harddrive or whatever you call that is still working ? but not the monitor?
Right now I'm on my brothers computer and I logged on to icq and it told me to type in my icq password so I did and it said WRONG PASSWORD over and over and over. No it's not the wrong password trust me. I've tried a gazillion times and it won't let me go online on icq than last but not least I typed in my icq number and email at the site and it said "Sorry can't send"???????? It's been going on for 2 weeks now and I'm so sick of it =O( Please help me guys. I'd greatfully appreciate it. I've tried doing this on 4 other computers too and it still doesn't work

well...
your monitor.. maybe just....... how you say blew a fuse...... or something like that.... just take it in to get it checked out.
and for your password........... don't forget any.. Caps.. or no Caps.. hehe sometimes it's the little things that matter

its your mother board its loose all u have to do is push it in to its slot it happens to my comp all the time

if your monitor didn't turn on it could just be your monitors gone..
it's happened before to me.. try taking ur comp, plugging it into the monitor of your bros comp or something.. if it works then, then u need a new monitor.. if not it's something to do with comp itself.. make sure all the cords are in right and what not.. other wise i dunno..

It's still not working
Nono you know how when you turn on computer your monitor opens and than it goes beep? That's normal. Every computer does that. The thing is my computer didn't do that. I restarted it a gazillion times, no beeping noise, the monitor button is green but the monitor is still blank, nothing is showing. What should I do?
And wait wait one more thing I can't log into my icq account. Last night I clicked on add users I added myself on my brothers computer and it said sorry this icq number doesn't exist???? What is wrong? Please help guys Thanks a bundle =O )

did u check to make sure all the cbles and everything is connected right? [inside and out?] cuz that could be it..
or maybe if your comp just doesn't start.. mm.. hard drive failure? has ur hard drive been showing sinces of being screwy lately? or your motherboard oculd be funked... overheated and what not maybe and something melted/burned? but about ur icq.. if it says your number is no longer exists then your accounts been deleted...

All I care about right now is my icq. How did my icq account get deleted? I never deleted it.. OH MY GOD GUYS HELP!!!! =O(

hehehe, the monitor doesn't make the beeping noise, that's your motherboard. If it's not beeping when you press power, than either a) your power isn't plugged in, or b) your motherboard is screwed.
Do you hear ANYTHING at all when you turn your computer on? You should be able to hear the powersupply fan at the VERY least, if not than your case could be fried. If you do hear that, and nothing else, then it's probably your mobo.

Okay I just found out what happened. You guys try adding me to your icq list and tell me what it says. My icq number is 62996095
My brother thinks someone hacked into my computer and screwed up my mother board than shut down my computer. Is that possible? I don't know how in the world would someone have my password. My password is kept to me And I didn't download that Anti-Virus thing

this is why u need an anti-virus [norton is best.. well better macaffe fuck that program licks..] and have some sort of other protection.. like zone alarm..

i think it's the CIA. they're trying to wipe out your identity starting with your icq account.
that's really shitty if someone hacked in to your computer. it's just such a pain in the ass. actually i'm kinda a hypocrite saying that cuz i used to do stupid stuff like that too. but nuthin really damaging, just tinkering around other ppl's computers. but i don't know how your number could get deleted....i thought the number would still be around just like old hotmail accounts.....hmm strange.

Couple of things...
My motherboard blew about 2 months ago and it was because the fan stopped working. I honestly wouldn't be able to tell you the problem unless I tested it. I think you should take it in to a shop or have a computer wiz look at it before you start blaming the crash on a hacker.
As for the icq thing that doesn't make sense. I didn't know it was possible to unregister a number. One thing I noticed is that you have quite a few accounts on icq. I added your email to the search box and 7 matches came up. The worst-case scenario is you'll have to activate an older account. You should be able to back everything up and restore your contact list?? When you get things running and if it turns out it was a hacker you'll need a firewall program and a decent piece of Antivirus software. You might even want to buy a new Ethernet card so your ip changes. Although after 1 week it should automatically change when you configure your winipcfg settings in the run window. Are u on shaw or telus?
