Well I have never had a problem in the year I have spent working on the site, putting as much as I could into it, but it seems I have come to a point where I'm not as much of a admin as I used to be. (in power sense) I can't fight 5+ members, and even 2 of our own mod's. So I have decided to leave for a undetermined amount of time. As much as I hate to do it, I have to, because I can't site on a site I have spent countless hours on, and watch users trash me left and right, and ignore my authority. From being harassed, and insulted, and ignored over the past week, I'm done. So I will be back sometime, but until then, everyone enjoy the site, and keep up the great content!

Honestly, far to many people are taking this site to seriously.
This whole thing about Myles "abusing his power" is getting old. So your not a mod anymore? Who cares! Is it really going to effect your life in the long run? NO!! So your shits getting deleted everynow and then... Who cares! Realistically, this isn't a big deal. Everyone should just move along, and away from this mod vs. myles the megapower bullshit. I used to have the same attitude, addy.
but then I thought about it... true... it is only a chat forum, but we talk about things that apply to real life, right? Similar kinds of things we would all talk about in person. The main difference is that online, there's no (or not much) social anxiety that will stop you from speaking your mind. I'll take a message board conversation just as seriously as I would take a real life conversation..... and if I was talking about something, and someone just walked up to me and wrapped my face in duct tape so I couldn't talk then I would be pretty pissed. Biased, abusive moderation is esessinally (sp?) no different than that. think about it... if no one took this place seriously, then there wouldn't be any meets or anything organized over it. |

man i agree.. i think this whole moderator buisness and people deleting posts because they don't like the fact they're being dissed is bullshit. I mean if your getting slammed maybe you should think about what it is about yourself that you can fix instead of trying to hide it from everyone to see... i mean shit most people are well aware of their flaws, or at least they should be. and instead of trying to pretend like they're perfect they take it up the ass like any strong willed person would. but unfortunately those who thrive on sympathy seem to rule this board so the rest of us get slapped around and told to keep our mouths shut. oh well such is life
