Questions about Computers! Help!
does any one know stuff about computers?! like about specs and stuff?
I'm thinking of getting a lap top and i want to get a good one. but i don't know what's good. like how much ram, memory.....etc should i get? or what's important, what's not important? i don't want to get screwed but i'm not gonna know any better cuz i don't know what's what. any advice you can give is appretiated! thanx! Any laptop that was made in the last 12 to 18 months should be able to do everything that you need it to unless a) you are into heavy graphic manipulation b) you are in database design work. Then you need something a bit more powerful.

don't buy from future shop or any mega electronics store like that... and don't order from dell...
i'm not up to date with my hardware, so i can't give u an ideal model or anything like that... but i've always found toshiba puts out some strong notebooks... and i played around on my friend's i-book the other week, i had some fun on that, but the new mac OS isn't too compatible with many things, so i'd stay away from an apple ... even though those notebooks are so gosh darn cute.... @_@

yes.. stay away from future shop.. they are evil!! damn saleguys! i know they just doing their job but they don't leave u alone.. AT ALL.. even when u know exactly what u want and u tell them that constantly and they STILL try and sell u more...
but if you wanna be sure of what to get, the best thing i'd say is just get some you know.. who knows lots bout comps, their prives, etc.. that kinda thing.. make sure they actually do know it [some ppl bs..] and get them to go down with u.. make sure they know what u want cuz then u can get what is best for u.. not what is most expensive or whatever they wanna sell u..

why do i need titanium plating? in case i need to send it in to orbit? i'm not gonna pay an extra million bux just so it looks fancy....
i've heard good stuff about toshiba's though. i know someone with one and he says its pretty good. maybe i should ask him about his. does anyone know how to tell if it's very fast? i'm so clueless..... thanks for the help!

i think you should get the ones that are super strong and can withstand a grenade blast(yup they have them!)

....so i most likely would know everything you'd want to know. Add me on icq or somethin and i'll answer all your questions.
Oh and this is what i think about Toshiba Laptops..... :281: YUP! thats right! good ol' animal luvin...
