job market is hurt in my opinion. too many peopel wanting mad experiances and nobody willing to give chances to people with not as much experiance or none. Also depends what job you looking for. It is getting a little better "apparently" to me it hasn't though but this is just my personal take on it

There are IT jobs in the Vancouver area. Check out bctechnology.com... they usually have some good leads. It all depends on what you can do, I guess, and what kind of experience you have.

The IT market right now is SLOWLY begin to turn around. I'm not sure what you've been up to in TO but hopefully you have some really great experience to offer that you gained while being out there. Competition is tough over here due to layoffs and those in-between jobs. Cheers. |

I just applied for a position on Robert Half. I’ve spent the last 2 years working for a rapidly growing third party logistics company owned by Canada Post. My title was Technical Support Analyst; I was just recently promoted to Network Analyst. Over the last year we’ve completed many projects and I’ve been fortunate enough to gain exposure and experience with a very broad range of technology.( can you tell I’m practicing for my cover letter :) peace |
