last time i did it it took me an hour, and i was really out of shape and had etnies on.
it probably wouldve taken me 2 hours if my friend wasnt telling me to go faster. i wanted to kill her. its sooo horrible but so rewarding. the worst part is when you get to the top, because then you have to walk up tons of stairs to the chalet so you can get something to drink. |

OK I used to wokr up at Grouse and I was unfortunetly o the rescue team. Many a time have I repelled out of the blue tram to carry someone down off the grind. Do me a favor if you are going and do afew things.
1) Bring at least 750ml of water with you. 2) Eat before you hike even if it's just a power bar or something 3) Bring a sweater. You may not use it but if you roll an ankle or something worse that sweater will be a life save for you. Many many times people have been pulled off that trail due to heat exhaustion or low blood sugar counts. It's a great trail and one hell of a workout but just do a couple fo things before hand that can save you alot of headaches later. Hopefully you will have a great time with no incindent but it's always better safe than sorry. Have fun doing the grind and I can assure you that you'll enjoy the ride down. G |
