they wont take you into open water if you fail your pool diving tests.
and trust me those are very, very hard. the stuff you learn in the pool. There's room for mistakes. I had an incident in the pool involving my regulator, I swallowed a lot of water. When i got in the ocean (i belive they'll take you to 25 ft) i made sure i did that one right. Its a different world thats for sure. But its a great expirience.. going diving is an incredible thing to do. best $450 i ever spent. |

i took my open water and advanced this summer in thailand....fuck, it was nuts...
it took me quite a while to get used to breathing through the regulator, but once ur out in open water, its insane.so much shit to look at, you just breathe like normal.i want to go diving again for sure. hey LDUB, do u have a link for diving in van? my gf wants to do it and it would be a swell bday present. thanks. |

Well they are big animals. lol But I think I would want to pet them more then cut them :p
It was funny when I went diving I thought it was soo cool when this big octopus came out and grabed my leg. My bf at the time was freeking he had his knife out already. I was just like, Cool!!! I'm not really sure about the temperment of sea lions but I know seals are great fun to dive with. So playfull. |
