My opnion after reading this tread: People just want to know whats up! When someone who "Unoficially" says the party might be cancelled.... its bound to spark debate and people want to know why. I dont think any of Miska or laurens comments were uncalled for as they are speaking their mind for the large majorty of people that were pretty suprised to read this thread. Maybe in the future it would be better for the promoteres respond to a thread like this instead of some random raver who thinks he knows whats up but "cant share" with the rest of us... that way we could lose the unnessary debate... when no one clearly knows whats going on. |

theres a saying... (which I tend to use allot)
"Only the guilty explain themselves..." Who cares if Solid isnt backing up the roumers that are being spread about them (does that make them the bad guys in this situation that theyre are not announcing to a small group of individuals that they didnt sell the tickets)...they mighta sold the counterfit tickets... but if they know they dont have a part in something (in this case the fraud)...then why bother explaing themselves, especially for something that isnt of big relevance to the scene. Think about it, have you been in a situation where you know you did nothing wrong...and didnt need to explain yourself when accused of something, becuase you know the truth about yourself and didnt need to cover anything, because in the end you know youll have the upper hand with the truth? Sure a small amount of people got sold fake tickets...but its life people, there will always be the greedy scam artists trying to make an extra buck. |

^ I don't know about you, but I don't like false accusations.
If someone pointed a finger at me for something I never did, I would defend myself. Just because YOU know the truth about something, doesn't mean everybody else does. So spread the word! And from a business perspective, what good could possibly come out of not making any attempt to squash detrimental rumours? Last edited by M!SKA; May 05, 04 at 02:04 AM. |

and a fraud case that the VPD is investigating roughly in the amount of 6 figures and up. This is indeed a serious matter. As far as tickets for fusion and the possability of it being cancelled I can not stress to people to chill out as best you can until an official release from someone that matters at Solid comes thru. I'm sure that as soon as they figure out what is best fro them at this time then they will be forth comming with information regarding Fusion Dreams. With all the hoopla surrounding fake tickets right now and the unfortunate people that got rpped off I can't blame them for proceeding carefully with their next few events.

Who knows if they were the ones who made the tickets but I know for a fact that they were the ones distributing them! I bought 2 tickets off of Qboy (Stan) and a couple of my friends bought tickets off of DLO_604 and they were all fake.
This definately proves that they were the ones selling them, so its up to them to explain what happend on their end. They cant and thats why their rep has diminished and thats why this party isnt happening. Their finnished. Also there were rounds of tickets for Fusion already sold. I know a few people who do have tickets. If you noticed, all the ticket sellers erased their posts when the Grand Finale scandal happend. Quote:

Anyway, back to your comment "Only the guilty explain themselves..." Again, "themselves" applies to a person and not a company. Companies in general need to take responsibility to ultimately communicate a position or what legal council has advised their position is. |
