within 2 days of having my painting hung at subeez it sold... and i have three other people who are asking about it.. sorry, its SOLD. thats right.
and i have people askin me to do paintings for them, FUCK YEAH.

yes i did a happy dance, i even yelped a bit.

of course, i felt my work was not as grand as the rest of the show, but thats the low self esteem of an artist. theres tons of beautiful peices there.

i highly recomend going and checkin it out.

plus subeez has really good fries.

a friend from school - his girlfriend organizes the show.

they hang photography too. the theme of this show was figurative.

if you would like, come to opening and i would gladly introduce you to the lady in charge, i love the work that i have seen of yours.

really?! dope...when is the opening? that'd be really cool.

although the deadline was last friday...you should try submitting stuff to Re:Design...it's some art show on the 15th in gastown...i'm sure if you just email them and ask them if you can make a late submission, they'd let you. famous people are gonna be there. do it do it do it

dammit... i'd love to, but i dont have anything worthy right now to submit. during school all i had time for was first year projects and well they are first year projects. this painting i did in a month specifically for the show, maybe next time?

definately im feeling i should be producing much more work.

the opening is may 14th.

i didn't even know until a few days before the final day to submit...the guy running it emailed me cuz he said he had seen my critique in toronto. it was all by chance

you should still try though. there's nothing to lose, right?

the stuff they're going for is more towards the design aspect of art....but that includes photography.
