Saturna Island

Anyone been? Cool spots? good restaraunts? good places to eat? beaches to camp on? things to do? Planning on heading there this weekend, looking for some info. Thanks :)

I've been there once about 3 years ago. There was not much there when I went.
Theres a little grocery store near the ferry terminal......thats about it.
Lots of trails for hiking/biking/etc.

dude i go there like once every couple months with my friend whos dad lives on it, as in stores and what not theres nothing theres a pub which has awsome food (i recommend the chicken fingers) and two general stores actually theres also a restaurant at the vinyard. cool places to go would be boat pass, varuna beach (pretty secluded but if u can find it theres sand and its pretty nice there), ecco bay, and the TV tower its pretty nice view from up there. its pretty layed back not much going on in terms of partying an stuff, not really anything as in girls except a few trashy girls who have babies at like 16, ask about the carpenter sisters. its definatly cool place to just kick back drink some beers by the ocean or hiking/cycling that kind of stuff. have fun.

k... Imagine a reaaaallly bad 60's movie about Woodstock... Got the image? ok... now all those people that were at the Real Woodstock live on Saturna. Groovy Baby... It's like Saltspring, but Hippier.

My girlfriend use to live on Saturna, haven't been there yet but we're hopefully heading there soon.

I'm working on my tour of the islands, went to Mayne last weekend, Saltspring is this weekend!

There's some nice rocks that you can climb on and fall into the sea.

yeah there's a few trading posts/ general stores and a pub. lots of trees and rocks. saltspring is much more interesting.
