Working overseas

I was offered 2 jobs to work overseas in the past 4 days one in Korea and one in Taiwan. The one in Taiwan sounds pretty good lots of benefits and a REALLY nice salary. I'm not sure if i want to take the job yet, cuz I'm really interested in working in Japan, so i'm sorta hopin i get a job offer from there sometime. has anyone been to Taiwan? Has anyone ever worked overseas? What do u think about workin overseas good idea/bad idea?

Taiwan, from what I understand, is expensive and right-wing. Not too sure much beyond that.

Japan, on the other hand, is like Disneyland.

My buddy went teaching English is Japan for a few months. He came back with all sorts of toys. The funnest was a series of those rising sun headbands. He also taught us how to play jan-kan. If you go to Japan and come back, I swear I will school your ass at it.

I kno it would b a good expierience to go to taiwan, it would suck not speakin mandrin tho. I can speak japanese decently. hmmm

southern taiwan has seeen a rise in crime lately.

taipei however is fine and it's a blast there especially if u loooooooooooooooooove stink ass foods like me.

japan on the other side, is likea complete disneyland.
BUT, japan is much more expensive than taiwan. that's where ebbo is wrong. japan is crazy in terms of everything except electronics.

i actuallythought about goin to taiwan or japan this summer for a job... but i think i'll wait till april '05, after IMF!

my sister taught english in japan for 3 years.. she made really good money and all her housing and stuff was paid for by the company she was working for

if you're trying to decide on a place to go, japan is definately the place to be

I'd say go with the best contract.

Japan is fucking expensive, so I'd only go if some kind of accomodation was included with the contract or something.

If you can save a lot of money with a good contract, then you can afford to visit the other countries you're really close to!
