Day Off
I renovate homes. To be more correct, I do the shittiest jobs that no one else wants to do while renovating homes.
Today, there is no work for me, and I am happy. While this makes for a less then stellar cheque (1 holiday, 1 forced day, 2 half days), it does afford me time to clean my damn appartment, so it's not so bad. That, and I dont have to lift any heavy things or work in the rain today.

i find it hard to believe that in this city there wasn't at least one person who wanted their home renovated.

The clients we currently have, well, the work has just stopped for me so other people (painters, stucco people, specilized concrete people) can do their shit. Next week is fucking crazy. Building yet another garage, and possibly putting 600 ft of crown moulding up in a house in West Van, which would be neat.
I'm enjoying the little bit of free time that I can.
