2 Nights in Tokyo
Ok kids, I'm stopping off in Tokyo for 3 days and 2 nights on my way back from Thailand in August. What are some things I HAVE to see, do, eat when I'm there?
And is there such a thing as a cheap hostel in Tokyo? |

If you're like me and enjoy city life you should defiantely explore downtown Shibuya.. It's a LOT of fun. They have LOTS to see there, not only high-end department stores but just so many many things to do/eat/shop for.. The people down there are super-trendy and interesting to look at. NHK studios is located there.. NHK is one of the major television networks in japan and when you visit the studio, you can tour the studio on your own with only a low cost of 500 yen or so.. It was fun for me at least.. particularly the huge domo-kun plush dolls sold at the gift shop..

i dont know how much they are
or if you can get one for just a couple of days but try to get a japan rail pass you have to get it here before you leave i believe might be pricey but you basically get unlimited travel for the days its valid shinkansen, local trains... totally worth it then you get to hop around the country :) i had a 2 week long one and it payed itself off in like a week |
