I'll be right here in Grand Forks. It's such a beautiful place to spend the summer - especially with Christina Lake only 20 min. away. My sister works at the lake over the summer, so I'll be spending quite a bit of time there (yay, i get to chill with my crazy lil sis, haven't done that in SO long!). But on weekends, I'm free to travel. Places I'm going this summer may include: Kelowna/Kamloops/Okanogan Area, Rossland/Trail/Castlegar area, Vancouver (for more wicked Van parties!), Nelson (and possibly the Slocan Valley. I love it out there), and of course - Salmo (for Shambhala!). It's going to be a great summer. =)

Ah, East....Where you goin in the East? I lived in Guelph Ontario for a while. ON is pretty nice, but nowhere near as nice as good ol' BC.

Only thing is....when I lived in ON, I missed BC...and now that I'm back, I miss ON. =/ Dilemna.

I was thinking of Grande Praire, northern alberta or possibly somewhere around Thunder Bay, Ont.
Just head off for a year, work, get back in shape etc.

Oooooh Thunder Bay. Not my choice, but then, I haven't really spent much time there. But Thunder Bay (or just past it, rather) is the classic hitchhiker's nightmare. Like, it's REALLY bad. Very hard to get picked up. I've heard stories of people just moving to whatever town they were closest to (or TB) because no one would pick them up.

Grand Prairie has lots of work, as does Cold Lake. I have friends up there. Although...it's super easy to get a job in ON too.

I hear ya! Ever since I was little I've spent every other summer in Cali. My cousins and I would switch...one summer they'd come up to Canada, the next I would go down there. This is my first summer not going down...but maybe just maybe, I can make a stop on my way to Texas...hoping *crossing my fingers* The cali ache is here too!!!! Just giv'r and go!!!

Hm...it all depends on how much work experience and how many skills you have, I suppose. This job couceller that helped me write a resume said I had the most work experience he'd ever seen for an 18 year old. heh... but yeah, I didn't have a problem finding a job in ON, and I even got a few others offered to me while I was there. *shrugs* It's still got more work than BC.
