Both teams were fantastic but only one can win. I thought Lecavalier, Fedetenko and even st louis were great. Even though Louis didn't score, he was very effective nonetheless.

Congrats Tampa Bay. 2004 stanley cup winners, and to Calgary who no one gave a chance too.

I would have loved to see Calgary bring the cup to Canada...

But Congrats to the Lightning. Just like the team root for, they only started building their team in the 92-93 season and came a long way from being a joke of an NHL team, to cup champs in 11 years.

For the Lightning this was just there third playoff's. Now they can add stanley cup champions to their resume, and next year the difference from other teams is, they will continue to be a strong team.

Really hot series. Felt like a repeat of Vancouvers '94 final, except this didnt go into OT.
Tampa did a really good job, kept on top of a lot of Calgary's errors. I would disagree with some of the penalties called, but whatever.

It was good hocky all around.

It was good hocky all around.

Two th ings first canucks lost game 3 in regulation on a second period goal, that turned out to be the winner. 3-2

Secondly man without the canucks it just didn't feel right. No matter what, even if I was cheering for calgary I am sure i wouldn't feel the same. I remember in 94 being so hyped up by the time the finals came, but this year I was like this will be a sweet final.

but the excitment of chosing which to cheer for wasn't there, even though i cheered tampa, my heart is always with vancouver.
