Meteor shower.....or not?
....I'm debating whether or not to stay up with Kam and watch the meteor shower or not........
"Apparently" itz going to be the show of the century and we won't see anything like this for a while..... But on the other hand, maybe I should go to sleep and then I can wake up early tomorrow and wake Kam up and have a really enjoyable day in da sun..... Hmm..... Who'z staying up to watch??? *Jen* |

Just talked to Kam on the phone......(hez at work.....)
Told him I asked people on F&K if they were watching and all you guyz responded........ So he wantz to know where you guyz are watching and if anyone wantz to meet up (probably at Bby mountain) and watch?! If we get a few people, and a few of my friends come, then itz a definite yes that we'll stay up and watch and he'll leave work at 12...... Any takerz? *Jen* -it's cool that you can see who's browsing the lounge right now...... |

Mmm.....I'm bored waiting for this........I should be doing a paper for skool.....after all, thatz why I'm home on a Saturday nite!.....but....naw, I'd rather be bored and sit on my comp all night waiting for the meteor shower and for someone to post something new on F&K.......... *Jen* |

I was lying on a concrete sidewalk in an industrial section of East Cordova for the first little while, and then I went to Queen E park to lie on the grass, watch the stars, and be serenaded by drunken hippies who'd had the same idea. heh. It was amazing though...
The sky is falling, the sky is falling! *ducks* |

Awesome. Believe it or not, I have never seen a shooting star before this weekend.
Pretty crazy. Saw a couple that got pretty close to the ground. Coulda sworn that one hit a couple trees. The tail was bright green and streaked across the sky....... tripped me the fuck out. I was up at SFU studying before hand. We planned on going to Burnaby Mountain like everyone else. We scratched that plan when we saw the traffic jam there. We went to a spot all the way at the end of North Road...... just as good as Burnbay Mountain. Sans traffic jam. I GOT FUCKING BAKED, then we went to Barnet Marine Park, where we blazed again. I know the best spots, heh heh. -Dwight:Somatic: |

It was a good experience, seeing the meteor shower...! Except that everytime I seemed to look down or around me, I missed some "spectacular and huge" one....grrr to that! And personally I think the idea to watch it from Bby mountain was a baaaaaaaaaaaaad one! Hehe......took us like, 2 hourz to come down from it and go home.....
Kimmie.....you shoulda given me a page to hook up! We were up there too....... Dwight......gee, thatz right behind my house! (end of North Road)......and a good idea! Damnit I'm dumb. *LOL* Do you go to SFU? *Jen* |
