Remember the....
My mom used to tell me these when I was younger, just wondering if anyone else knew ones like these?
On a dark dark day and a bright bright night, Two dead boy's got up to fight, back to back they faced each other drew their swords and shot each other, a deaf policman heard the noise and came and shot the two dead boy's. Lady's and gentleman take my advise pull down your pants and slide on the ice. |

I've heard that before, but I dont think my mom would tell me something like that!
My Dad used to sing us the "Bug Song" though. Bugs, bugs, bugs If I had them all in jugs I would dig, dig, dig A big, big hole And that would be the end Of the bug song! Or my grandpa's Cowboy songs. haha. Those were great. |

I learned it as
In the dead of the night, In the middle of the day; Two dead boys got up to play. Back to back, They faced each other; Drew their swords, And shot one another. A deaf policeman heard the noise Shot and killed those Two dead boys. If you don't believe my tale is true, Ask the blind man He saw it too. (please forgive any grammatical offences, it's late for me, and I'm baked.) |
