Does Anyone Else Do This?

So I have this habit I guess that I have been doing as far back as I can remember. And it is whenever I get to much change in my wallet like dimes, nickles, pennies. I gather them up and throw them like out the window when I am driving, or on the street where I am walking wherever. And wanted to know if anyone else does this?

One of my best friends Greg, I did that in front of him awhile back and he was in shock and could not belive what I just did. Thinks I am crazy for just throwing money away. So if I have to do it in front of him I just give him the change, instead of just throwing it away. And whats even more funny is that his girlfriend I just found out does the same thing as I do. So it made me think I was not the only one. So was just wondering if anyone else has done it?

If I am out, and I have too much change, I pretty much do the same thing... it's change... I don't care about it, nor do I want to carry it...

Although, if I am at home and happen to notice I have any change, I just toss it in an empty pringle can and forget about it..

I keep every piece of change I get...And yes that does include the "not so cool" pennies! lol...I love pennies...If I see one on the ground I pick it up 1 more cent to making a dollar...Think about it if you saved all your change and then brought it to a bank that would put more money in your pocket.

you know what i do? i save my change for about a year and then throw on a pair of those pants with alot of pockets along with a jacket that has even MORE pockets. load myself up with change, strap a car alarm to my chest and then go downtown. the first bum that asks for my change is all of a sudden hit with the sound of my car alarm and i yell, "you hit the jackpot!" and then i proceed to empty my pockets of all that change i had saved up.

it's fun.

That's fukn hilarious!!!!!!!!!!! LMAO!

I usually do something similar to Future Raver J-although if too much change collects up for too long (cuz I don't drive) ESPECIALLY pennies, I FUKN HATE pennies, I usually put them in something, and throw them in the garbage! Wish pennies would just go away!

i don't do that.

every time i come home from somewhere i empty all my change into this chupachups container i have. it's cool and metal and shaped like a milk can. anyways, the thing is almost full. last time i emptied it i had about $120 in change.. so no i'd rather not throw it out.

If I get pennies in my change I put them immediately into the "Take a Penny" doohickey... if there is none, I leave them in a stack on the nearest ledge to me. I don't keep my change in my wallet... it's loose in my pocket so it doesn't fuck up my back even more.

^ ^exactly. You'd be suprised at how much money you can save/make if you collect your change for a while. Too bad I'm too scatter brained to do it often enough, but I'm working on it. I didn't by that ceramic, high-top shoe piggy bank for nothing!

I have this thing for picking up change in the street. I'm not a supersticious kinda guy, but whenever I see a penny I pick it up - it's gotten to the point where I've convinced myself that that old saying "take care of the pennies and the dollars will take care of themselves" is almost supernaturally true. If I walk past a penny on the sidewalk and don't pick it up, I believe I will lose money in the near future.

*shrug*. Maybe it's coincidence, but ever since I started, I haven't once been broke.

I toss all my change into a jar at the end of the day and once the jar fills up enough (it doesn't take too long with loonies and toonies) I roll it up, cash it in, and spend the money on weed. The way I think about it, whenever I buy something and I get change, I'm paying whatever for the item, but I'm also getting some weed back with my reciept.

I hate change, and its annoying metallic "clink" when it's in your pocket and you're walking. I just dump it all on my dresser.
