I did the classic last night! Spent about 15 mins looking for my lighter (and was starting to get quite annoyed!) - just to realize that it was in my hand the entire time.

i do stupid or "absent minded" things all the time.. one that stands out was when me and ashlee were sitting at Braid waiting for a bus when a guy came and sat down beside us and started talking to us (he's all cracked out) then -apparantly- this other guy came up and started freaking out on the guy that was talking to us, and it was this whole big show... i started to say soething to ashlee.. and she was just staring at this dude, and i was like whatever and kept talking... then she cut me off and was like "woah.. that ..was intense!!" and i was like what? i look over at the other guy sitting beside us and he looked all blown away..and i was just like "what???" ashlee was like ... didn't you just hear that guy? he just lost it on this guy!

i don't know,.. i just thought it was pretty oblivious of me to totally zone out some big guy yelling literally a foot away from me...

locking keys in car 3 times, ummm, leaving smokes on the roof of car and driving away, turning back home to pick up forgotten money that i needed to return, ummm theres more but i cant seem to think of any
but all in all we all do this shit

going downstairs to get towels out of the dryer since i was going to take a shower. went back up into my room to get something, and forgot said towels on my bed. took my shower and discovered i had no towels with me. :\

i'm forever locking my keys in the flat.. in past it's resulted in a brick through a window, a broken down front door and a splintered back door on various different occassions. what i've learned is that it's damn easy to break into a place if you really want to, that neighbours don't seem to respond to sounds of breaking glass and splintering wood at 4AM (!), and that it's much cheaper and easier to just leave a set of keys with someone else. ha.
