Does anyone know how to clean a hat?
i have a basic white fitted hat, with nothing on it... ive heard stories about a way to wash your hat with the dishwasher? i attempted it one time but it got ruined but everyone else says it's possible to do it.. can anyone tell me how to do this!!! i bought this white hat 2 weeks ago and now it's crazy dirty...

I throw mine in the washer machine with my other laundry... this has worked farely well for me so far

there's this stuff called pink solution, its crazy. And you don't really have to get it wet just rub it on it takes almost anything off, but I'm assuming that your hat is drenched in dirty sweat, so just buy that dishwasher thing or take it to the cleaners, they'll do it right.

can i get some instructions on how to put it in the dishwasher.. liek does it have to be the top rack, special detergent..what settings and such...? i like white though ... white is a right ?....white just goes good with everything. But yes if someone knows of instructions on how to wash in dishwasher that would be great because i tried it before in tehre and it fucked up the hat and broke the rim..

Throw your hat into the wash with some light clothes. Don't use bleach, and I recommend warm to cold water.
After the rinse & spin, take a towel (preferrably a color that is similar to your hat) and roll it up in a ball shape. Fit your hat onto it, adjust the rim, etc. Let it air dry. The end.

I find if you wash you hat in the washing machine it tends to get wrinkled up on the top of it, almost like it is folding in on it's self, I put my white hat in oxy clean and hot water, let it sit for 6-8 hours and then come back, give it a good scrub and then rinse and dry, my hat blinds people everytime I wash it.
