If you're going into law, I'd minor in polisci.

(I might also just be saying that because I'm a polisci major.)

Econ is also a good choice.

I also agree with Sean about the rediculousness of the concept of 'pre-law.' Does that make me pre-grad?

Question: Why do so many people feel the need for a minor? Is it a significant benefit for the future? I'm seriously curious...because I only have a major.

Oh yeah, and if you're majoring in psychology, why don't you minor in criminology if you're 'pre-law'?

It depends. Do you want to take courses that will boost your GPA, or do you want to take courses that will get you ahead when you actually get into law school?

Boosting GPA: Sociology

Doing well in law school: (from what i've heard from people who are actually there) Philosophy will teach you how to build good arguments. English will teach you how to write well.
