My 5th metacarpal is fucked
long story short, got into a fight broke/fractured my 5th metacarpal which is the bone in your hand that conects to your pinky fingers knuckle :). So my doctor told me depending on alot of factors i could be fucked for the rest of my life,no hockey no bmxing no fighting, my hand is totally gimped right now i have full use of my thumb and first 2 fingers i feel like fucking ninja turtle, also i may never be able to liquid dance again!!! So i hope to fucking god its nothing serious and it just requirs some kinda splint, over surgery, pins, weeks of recovery and a huge loss of hobbies. All this over one stupid bone. Has anybody else had this happen, and if so please tell me your hand is fine now!!!

uhh... getting surgery, pins and weeks of recovery sounds pretty serious to me! but whether or not this will get better does depend on a lot of factors like angular or rotational deformity, how bad the break is or whether or not you just left it without any treatment. look up "boxer's fracture" and I'm sure you'll find something.

yah! i'm not the only hand gimp!

i'm pretty much healed up though...except for the copious amounts of sweat that comes off of it.
