Yeah, I'm going to stop posting THREAD, after THREAD about all the new and exciting** features I add to the site. So I'm just going to leave this one stuck here, and update this post with the newest feature and how to use it. Feel free to post any comments, or questions you may have.

**NEWIST FEATURE

Title: Favorite Threads
Date Added: November, 24, 2001
Description: Allows you to save threads, and have them handy for reading anytime!

Step ONE: Find some threads you like, and click the "FAVORITES" button next to reply, at the top or bottom of a thread.

Step TWO: Click the "FAVORITE THREADS" link, on your HOT LINKS, off the main page.

Step THREE: From here you can remove threads, see who posted last, see if there is any new posts, and reply directly to a thread.

I pull it off tho eh! AND managed to edit the ENTIRE showthread template, giving you the buttons OUTSIDE the box, making everything cleaner, AND a jump to top of page link! I KNOW NO SKETCH!

you know one thing that I think is kind of ugly?
the yellow stripes around the board, and the yellow color of all the thread headings. I really don't think the yellow works that well with the rest of the board's color scheme.

hmm.... maybe a really useful feature would be a useless feature setting in the user profile screen. if you don't like all the bells and whistles here, just turn them all off with the click of a radio button.

I think it's great that you added this new feature...I personally check back on threads that I've posted on to see what's been said and what not...Having this FAVOURITE icon thingy deff. makes things so much easier...!! :D:

here's a suggestion for you.

You obviously have been pouring your heart and soul into this place for the last year or so, all for free. Webmonkey type stuff seems to really interest you.

So why not go try and get an admin job with a place that will actually pay you money?

The work you've done on this place would probably look great on a demo CD/disk/whatever that you would give employers...

lol, thx for the advice Rytalin but I love this site, for all the friends I have made, and all the great times I have had. its nice to have a site with users that appreciate your work, and were I can work on it when I like, not having due dates, ect.

I work as a freelance graphics designer currently, simple "busy" work really for allot of small based personal US sites, most having a vB in there somewhere. Got a good, 40-50 domains that have some sorta work of mine on them. As far as I'm concerned if I created a portfolio, and submitted it to anywhere I would be laughed at, I'm just a another kid who knows some tricks man.

in the future I plan to do something, but as for now, I'm just learning as I go along.
