Angel of mine
The heavens wept for me,
For only they could truly see, That love is hoping blind in vain, When all it brings is empty pain. One sweet diamond tear in the night, From tears shed at midnight. Hold me gently angel of mine, Kiss me with your lips of cherry wine. The touch of love impassioned heat, The breath of love is ever sweet. Peaceful pure so tender and tranquil, My angel's breath is sweeter still. Of true love long sought, I know well Of my angel's thought, My soul swells. Of my dreams come true, I can tell, Of course it is you, My angel. this poem can also be found at www.poetry.com search Monique B. Last edited by Mo...; Jul 04, 04 at 06:47 PM.
