What were some of your favourite flyers?
and why?
mine would have had to been a USC flyer from way back. had the logo printed in some sorta varnish that made th flyer super trippy. That, or the Simple booklets, Summerlove flyers (i love well done hand drawn art on flyers), Wett, and... hmm.. lots more actually.. anyone care to help me refresh my memory? (sorry if this post is old, but... post anyways!) |

I loved the flyer for "Jungle For Dummies" (that was a JLF party maybe in 2001? I wonder if Rawb can post a copy of it). It was well put together and actually funny.
For a party called Rinse not too long ago, it was thrown in a laundry mat so of course the flyers were like little cotton t shirt tags- which was really really neat. I like anything that is simple and small, I don't need novels, I also don't need a big FOLDOUT POSTER. Oh, and of course for Brush Your Teeth too, just because there's a shoutout to "Myra's Mom" on the flyer. My mom even kept a copy of it on her fridge..haha |

I liked the Stargate flyer where it had space next to each headliner's name for a sticker. To get them all you had to go from ticket outlet to ticket outlet, finding the stickers you are missing. Reminded me of those Ninja Turtle stickerbooks I used to get from the grocery store. :)

DOSE, when they still existed had a flyer i won't forget...
Their last raverside party. No matter how exciting waiting in line for 4 and half hours was to party for 3 hours before it got busted. That flyer was vivid. And I got a flyer from way back some years in a box kicking around somewhere for a Seattle party...By the column that listed ticket price: (All Surrey girls get in free with ID) No joke. Hillarious. |
