You're probably thinking of VBase or Rev. VBase is shit, Rev is an acquired taste.

As for Absinthe, you're better off just getting a shot of 151. The two will probably have the same effect, as the Thujone content in Absinthe in North America is minimal at best. Pretty much you won't get any sort of "vision like" states drinking this weak Absinthe as even with "REAL" Absinthe it takes a great deal of prolonged use of Absinthe to get these effects.

So in closing, why even bother.

I'd have to agree, just get the shot of 151, since the absinthe in North America sucks and you will not get any halucinations from it here... if you did, it would be illegal.

pretty much, it's not even that high of an alcohol content either.

something similar to an overproofed vodka or rum as far as alcohol content goes.

I'd suggest drinking copius amounts of jager, it has a similar hazy effect of drunkiness to north american absinthe, and tastes a hell of lot better.
