I don't know her, but I would say that if she's not ready to quit at the moment, then she's not ready. She'll start up again in no time if she's not in the right frame of mind (as I've learned from experience). If she is ready to quit, which would be superb, then she should stick with the motto that 'it's all in her head'. That's been the most effective way that I have seen people quit smoking...psychologically getting over a habit is the key.
Uh...so yes, I think she should, but no, I don't think you should force her through this poll. *Jen* |

I like how people whine and complain, its soo hard to quit smoking, but if you ask them if they have tried the Nicotine patches, or the Nicorette gum, or some pills that doctors can give you now, they all share the same answer, No.
So why not give them a try, yes they are expensive, but its an investment, think about all the money you are going to be saving in the future from not having to buy smokes each day. My sister quit smoking on those pills, and she smoked a pack a day, for like 15 years, and she quit in 4 months. So in the end, give them a try, and goodluck to you. |
