So What Now?

Wow.. so like.. i made it and stuff... now where is good to go out? managed to get a place for a week on thurlow street in the city...

where should i explore? I have a few days to play untill I can get my SIN.. and get a job.. so i may as well have some fun before it all gets serious.

i just have to say... its damn hot. i mean im sweating here.. whats with that eh? <-- see im practicing my canadian

the only thing is i seem to be speaking too quickly... ack thats going to be had to fix.. but the blank stare of several shopkeepers is putting me off :)

oh and i have to say.. damn the girls are fine here! oh and everyone has been so nice to me!

hehe yeah im doin that.. i jsut logged in to get some phone numbers and get my email.. fnk is just icing on the cake till the money runs out.

You're on Thurlow? Walk all the way to the end and go around the sea wall at Stanley Park! It's absolutely amazing. If you don't like walking/running, rent a bike! Great way to see the beauty of Vancouver :)

If the weather is nice head up to Cyprus (spelling) Mountain view point. On a clear day you can see the island and the US. It's pretty cool ifyou haven't seen it.

some other places to check out:
-the capilano suspension bridge,
-english bay (the fireworks start on wednesday at 10pm...get there early for a good seat on the grass)
-playland (or the pne which starts in the last two weeks of august)
-go camping up in cultas (chilliwack area)...there are also waterslides up that way
-hop on the ferry and go over to victoria...if you like museums...definitely check out the one there...its fabulous

although shine is a lot of fun (its on water street) thursdays is 80s night...and sunday is gay nite...and i hear saturday rocks

and check out the bourbon....ususally on a friday night is where a lot of us here end up...
