The age thing is a lame excuse, I'm 18, currently working full time, and i'm going to be attending school in the fall (full time as well).
My parents are paying for part of my tuition but they think it's an important "learning experience" for me to work and pay for part of it. I have my own car although I need to work on getting my license and insuring it but I'm pretty sure i'll have that solved by the time September rolls around. I work 8 hour shifts and sometimes I work graveyards as well, so I think the bigger problem for most "ravers" is spending ridiculous amounts of money on unnecessary things and not looking hard enough to get a job. When I used to party really frequently I'd spend roughly 100$ on bigger parties.. tix, water, drugs sometimes outfit, but I hardly party anymore because my priorities have changed. |

a) i threw my parents an anniversary party b) half of my cheques go into my vegas and scotland fund c) i like to drink, and be drunk d) i have to pay for insurance, a student loan, a cell bill, a gym membership, and rrsps and yes i have a car, her name is gretta...most of the ol skool ravers (and a few of the new) know her very well. |
