Williams is diesel, but so was Bruce Seldon and we all remember what happened there. Tyson is a compact guy, but he's probably one of the naturally strongest 233 pound humans in the world.

definetly can't see tyson being natural at any other weight.

thats why his power is so awesome.

just like bernard hopkins is best at 160 because thats his prime weigh

yeah, that was Roy Jones' problem. He threw his body off by gaining all that weight to fight at heavyweight then taking it off too quick to get back down to fight Tarver.

^ yep he just never got it back. Meaning he just couldn't get back into the shape he was before even though his body from the outside looked the ame.

Ya i give it 4 rounds.

how about this fight felix trinidad returns against Ricardo Mayorga on Oct 2nd i believe. Felix's first fight since his only loss *bernard hopkins unification fight*

i still don't understand why he retired so quickly but i am sure he had his reasons. I say felix will win this in a close fight

Well at least I got one thing right lol.

I think Tyson is officially finished....

he is basically fighting cause he needs money, regardless of if his career is over or not he still needs the money badly.

yeah, but after tonight I can't see him making any more than a couple million a fight from now on. He's about $30 million in debt, which means he'll have to fight another 10 or 15 fights just to get himself out of the hole. Truly sad situation...

yeah, should be a war while it lasts. Both guys have their own big advantages. With Trinidad, he is the more natural middleweight and he was able to carry his punch up there with him. With Mayorga, he'll be fighting a rusty Trinidad after a 2 year layoff. Trinidad's power will probably be the difference.

yeah, and eventually get a rematch with Hopkins. You gotta figure Hopkins is gonna get old eventually and I'd love to see Trinidad end his career and get redemption. I was a huge Trinidad fan, and the Hopkins fight was depressing. I couldn't believe how easily he was handled.

I go for Mayorga on this fight...this guys is one fucking tough Mexican! What other boxer do you know smokes and drinks his ass off during the boxing season? I don't. So for a guy who knows how to throw the big bombs...but sucks at his other power punches....it can be a close match. Just look for Mayorga to go out taunting his opponent with his shoulder shrugging, boxing glove to jaw missing, and you got yourself a brawl!!! :D
Verdict: Mayorga wins by the seventh round - TKO

^ but think abotu this for a minute. Tyson loses to a low name boxer from the UK, now who or sorry what promoter is gonna want to make a fight for Tyson.

Even if Tyson gets some fights they are gonna be low purse, no one wants a tyson to fight for a million dollars if he is just gonna get stomped like he did in this fight in 4 rounds.

Its more like he need 10 matches since the amount of mon ey he is gonna ma ke is gonna drop

I will still go with TITO for the win over mayorga. If he comes in tip top shape, considering he did have the total package before. If rust doesn't come into it TITO will win.

He had the speed, power, size and smarts before

That's the problem. They were talking about 7 fights, but each getting progressively harder against better competition and for more money. He was supposed to be able to blow Williams out, then fight Jirov, then Tarver, and eventually Klitschko. Now, all of that is out the window. His only hope is to get an immediate rematch with Williams, blame this loss on the torn knee, and try and get back on track. I think he's finished though. Williams wasn't even a top 20 heavyweight.

I didn't know Pacqiao and Barrera were fighting again. I want to see a rematch with Marquez as well. That was one of the best fights I've ever seen.

There's a good fight next week, but TSN doesn't show Showtime fights. Diego Coralles vs. Acelino Freitas for the lightweight championship.

yeah, throw Butterbean into the mix, and you could have a tournament of the best 4 round fighters in the business.

Ya i like Coralles alot. He is a very good puncher in my opinion.

I think the Pacqiao vs Barrera fight is slated for december though.

Pacqiao against Marquez would be great. They definetly need a rematch but it seems like it won't come for awhile.
