The big book of India I recently purchased says Goa is a huge tourist trap. I'm totally going to Darjeeling and staying on a tea plantation and writing the great Indian novel.

My friends Dad stepped off of the Plane in Bombay and almost threw up on himself from the smell. He called the Company in Toronto and had them Fly him to another job in a different continent 2 hours later. True Story. :)

Being able to fuck off anywhere and write a novel would be ace. I'm wanting to do that in Paris for awhile eventually, I'll just need a lot of money to do that.

I can honestly say I have never been to india and have no interest in going but Eygpt now thats a destination.

Ive been there buncha times
I agree about the smell. But once your out of the city and into the country side it aint bad at all. foreign currency goes a long way over there.

everyone i've talked to seemed to love it. from what i've heard the scene is somewhere between ibiza and haad rin in thailand with a hell of a lot of psytrance. cheap as hell too. lots of hippies! only thing is dont expect to see any djs down there, no ones gonna haul a shitload of vinyl around india

been there a few times but trust me sean u will get mugged there...if they see a sucker like u there they will kidnap u and god knows wut they would to lol...but goa is a really nice place and its pretty cheap for us canadians....very peaceful there..i recomend going there
