communism, 1984, propaganda
if your interested in that stuff, go watch channel 27... its a thing on North korea. Its crazy what they believe. They get mad towards the americans to this day when ever the gov't has a rolling blackout to conserve energy.
the gov't makes the citizens blame everything bad to the americans or the "white western world" |

well, take a look at America... they're headed in that direction rapidly... the US government is taking away peoples' freedom and rights under the name of 'terrorist protection policies'

I watched the documentary and I thought it was really interesting. It's a shame the government only allowed us to see the lives of some hand-picked, privilleged families.
It's amazing to see a society that is so far from western influence. The society actually functions so very efficiently, but its people are total robots. One of the things I found the most interesting was the fact that state run radio in pyongyeng (sp?) is broadcast in every household, and it can be turned down, but cannot be turned off. Everyone that was interviewed seems so happy, it's scary and unnatural. |

its true that if they are happy with their way of living we have no right to change that. But the sad truth is there is 22million ppl in that country and 80% of them are starving and barely scraping by. All they care for is to work for the "leader" and make the country proud.
i didnt know this about N. korea's communism but they have 3 diffrent groups, the hammer (workers ie. construction), the hook thingy (peasent/farmers), the writing brush(intellects ie. professers) was russia's communism based pretty much the same? |
