well when i was having really really bad problems with not being able to sleep i had to resort to taking pills.
i dont like doing that though...but unfortunately it came down to that...too many things on my mind... but now i try and watch tv....or i'll write in my journal, or drink lemon and honey tea |

I'll smoke a joint, make a cup of tension tamer tea (w/ honey), watch tv (always makes me fall asleep!) ..or if all else fails, I'll call someone and talk on the phone until I get sleepy...like especially if it's too hot, I'll just sit outside and talk on the phone, it's probably the only time I actually like to talk on the phone.

hot beverages tend to wake me up, i dont put bad stuff into my lungs anymore, and lately reading has been stimulating my mind keeping it more awake, and because im so tired, tv irretates me and makes my head hurt.
music is good though. maybe tonight ill try that. ive also been finding that when i have a hard time falling asleep and i finally do i have awful dreams - teetoring on being night mares and just being bad dreams. does anyone else find this? |

i listen to mum or boards of canada to lullaby me to sleep, if it's noise that is keeping me awake that usually does the trick. turn on a fan. take off some clothes. or put on some clothes. get up and go watch television. talk on the teleephone. or talk to who's around me, that never fails to annoy people that are sleeping though. or roll over tons and tons of times and try and get comfortable and usually by then i'm asleepy head.
