I bet none of you have anything as fast as mine, my shit is state of the art.

I even downloaded a new version of DOS 2.6 off a BBS about an hour ago at 96 BYTES A SECOND.

Fuck man.. it only took about an HOUR! as opposed to the regular 1/half hours to download 2.3MB - I could barely fit it on my hardrive.

Save your envy for somebody who gives a shit, man. My shit is tight.

My first computer was

then

with the SWEET 16K memory expansion card!

then

With this awesome 'cartridge' - Action Replay IV - it cracked games and you could go into memory to make new cheats and trainers

then

then computing was just a commodity after that, P1, P3, AMD 3200ProA+, GeForce4

I used to have an 8086 with two Floppies and the Monitor was connected to it. A little Black and White Tumour Generator. But my first Computer was an Apple IIE with the AWESOME Colour Monitor. I've got a copy of Windows 286 around here somewhere if you want to borrow it neoh.

Historical Purposes and to laugh at the fact that it actually existed... Hell I still play Full-Version Wolfenstein 3D on my 1.3GHz Tower.

Apple IIe

Sheet I forgot about those things

I remember playing what was it that flying game where you shot down the tanks - Starfox or skyfox or something like that?

I remember at sleepovers in grade 4 playing that game until the parents dragged the computer away from our clutching hands and stashed it under their bed so we would get some sleep

I don't think I had that game, but I had quite a few others. We only got rid of that thing in around '93 I think it was.

I think I'm going to start collecting those things like those computers from the 80s

I miss my Commodore 64.

My parents threw out my "disk box". I had like 60,000 games for the thing, over 20,000 5 1.4" floppies

I miss the little whirr the drive made. Computers these days have a sterile whine

Not anymore. heh and what ever happened to keeping Data on Casette Tapes? lol "Press Play on the Cassette to Continue" I think I have a copy of "Oregon Trail" on a floppy around here, man, that runs fast on my 1.3GHz AMD.

I remember the ADAM computer.

DUAL HIGHSPEED TAPE DRIVES!

That thing kicked. It broke all the cheap tapes though

It could load 16k in like 45 seconds!
