INFO: This will be a tight party consisting of Jungle Breaks & Hip Hop. We have rented a venue that use to be a theatre. At this party we will have a B-boy contest and a live graffiti wall. We will also have live hip hop from YOUNG & DANGEROUS. Because this party ends at 3:00am we are trying to organise an after-party for all of u that just cant stop dancing. We have also added a 2nd JUNGLE room!!!!

gather 'round kids and learn a little something.....

any time a promoter is spending serious cash to bring in a headliner, they are NOT going to keep it a secret.

in some instances, promoters will keep a dj a secret if another promoter has brought them in for a seperate party. they may agree to "borrow" that headliner, but not tell people because the orininal promoter may lose ticket sales.

more often than not, a "mystery headliner" is a big fat load of crap. think: "our headliner will be who ever we find at the last minute".

promoters need to be more accountable and open about their parties if they expect people to go.

party sets off a lot of warnings...

1) the 'mystery headliner'. that is bullshit. always. as soon as you see something like that you have to realize that they think they're better off selling tickets keeping the headliner a secret than advertising him.

2) 'TBA'. announced where? message boards?

3) no one bills flip unless they are a drooling retard. this dude cleared out the entire lotus clubnight in 20 minutes.

4) it's in new west, which means it will get busted at 2. if it's at a 'theater', that means its at the raymond burr (nee eagles hall), which means it's 'second room' is about 3/4ths the size of spanish's 'second room'.

5) lack of ticket outlets.

6) the only dj on there i even know is oddmud, and that's probably because he's a friend of mine.

this is going to be a fucking *gong show*, if it even goes off.
