Well anybody that knows me...knows I am usually in Seattle at least 1 or 2 times amonth to party..The parties there rock..They are alot more openminded to all types of music and not just all about trance, breaks and house music like most Vancouver parties seem to be..There is more unity as a rave community and alot beter vibe..Whether its a small 200 person party or a 10 000 person massive you can always have a good time in the states. The tickets are alot more reasonably priced and the venues are always pretty decent. Hmmm you can find me next week at Grooveside Connections 2004 ..DJ FUNK :) and then in Sept off to San Francisco for a hardcore massive party :)
So if you have not been to a party in the states go ..Its definatly worth the trip.. |

i went to a smaller party this past may in seattle. i had an absolute blast.
different things i noticed? not to many dancers going on, a lot of sitting, but this could have been due to the heat in the venue and the huge back wall of bleachers at the main stage. and like dave said, they knew we were canadian. i dunno how. but that also meant tons of free shit. everyone scored a few cd's and such. seems like there are more candy kids in seattle, even though the party i attended wasn't an all trance spectacular. |

tech itch laid down the heaviest and tracks ever... slave to life...fucking dark intro...And the sound(for a side stage) was WAY better then shit around here...
although i have to say the sound for Evol intent and infiltrata at studio B in, was gay WANK... |

LA gets the best talent in the world
went to Monster Massive in '02 and '03... huge Halloween party with 5 stages, over 20,000 in total. www.monstermassive.com there's some even better outdoor parties, but never been and the club scene is insane too. every week there's a bunch of big headliners. They are at clubs like Spundae and Avalon. |
