The Ring Book

i got this given to me as a birthday present and just finished reading it a couple days ago.

it's the english translation of the japanese book that the movie 'Ringu' and its american remake "The Ring" was based on.

the book is really different from the american version of the movie, i couldn't say anything about the japanese movie because i have seen it yet.

definitly a cool read, not very scary, but a good mystery story if you like that kind of stuff. it's also cool to read something that was originally written in another language, you can tell it's a translation, but it's done very fluently.

yeah i wanna go and watch the Japanese version now. i was talking to someone else that read the book and they said that the japanese version of the movie is much closer to the book than the american one, because the american one is really really different.

the book is also a trilogy the next one is called Spiral and the Loop is the third book in the series.
