quite a few types of people. First off musicians. I possess absolutely no musical talent, and anyone who can play an instruement and play it well I admire. Also writers, specifically writers with a good imagination, I love that creative good stuff....mostly I admire anyone who is passionate about anything, I don't care what it is, it's the passion in people I admire.

I look up to my Granny too. She is such a whimsical and free spirited person. No matter where she is living, who she is with, what she's doing for a job, or how little money she has.. she is always happy. wow I'm getting all choked up just thinking about her. |

Henry Cullen, aka D.A.V.E. the Drummer.
Amazing producer, awesome guy (reportedly, never met him). Been at it for years, ignoring trends and staying true to his own vision of what 3am in the main room should sound like. Every time I think maybe this whole music thing isn't going anywhere, and maybe it's time to grow up and focus all that energy elsewhere, I have a listen to some D.A.V.E. the Drummer, and remember what it's really all about - when a lot of work goes into something small, or something that doesn't last very long, it makes that something more special. This holds true for any art. |

my brother definately, he's shown me alot, including denying what teachers say and showing them that hes infact more intelligent than them.
my dad - for his fight, his humour and his ability to cope. also his respect and love for everyone he meets. i admire and adore my boyfriend for his personality that day in and day out amazes and surprises me. i wouldnt say i look up to him, but whenever i look to my side, he's there. its a type of admiration that makes me glow. but the main person i look up to\admire\see is myself to be honest. i have always worn my heart on my sleeve which has indeed caused pain, but has allowed me to love and respect and care openly. no matter what anyone has said, i have persued what was in my heart. didnt matter if i changed my mind in the morning, im gonna do what i want to do today. its taken me almost 20 years to be who i am right now, and quite frankly, i think im aging well. |
