thats cool! vcc is a respectable school... but what my friend did was, he went to europe after he graded from vcc. He attended some chef trainning school in paris. Soon as he came back he landed a job at the Westin Bayshore, pretty neat.
sorry i couldnt help you with picking out other schools... but thought i should tell ya what you could do after to land a kick ass job. |

There's the school on Granville Island, and there's also the AI Dubrulle Institue in the Canaccord tower on Granville.
IMHO, and I've looked into CA as well (for the same reasons, I might add. ;)), VCC has a fantastic program for a fraction of the cost of the private institutes (I think it's less than $5000 at VCC for a year, but it's around $12000 for 6 months at the other 2). The waiting list is long, but the program starts every month. I vote VCC...Maybe I'll see you there, Los. :) |
