what's the deal with grumpy old ravers? They remind me of my grandpa who thinks he has seen everything in life and knows the answer to everything.

personally, i think they suck.

Old ravers think they are something special becuase theyve been in the scene for longer and know more about it, but really, they are just like all the other idiot ravers eccept dumber becuase they hate the scene so much and yet still participate in it

Y'know, it's not a hard-and-fast rule that ravers get jaded after a few years. The only thing to really get jaded about is the "scene". :)

The music is still awesome, and dancing late at night on drugs is still wicked fun, but if you make the rave scene your entire life, of course you're going to get bored of it!

Raving is an activity, not a lifestyle, not a clothing choice. Raves are not important or relevant or political, they're *fun*.

Id like to add to my previous post... I think the reason almost all ravers become jaded is becuase as time goes by and theyve been raving for longer, they realize things about the scene and the people and cant feel the same way about it anymore, they dont feel the feeling they had when they first started raving becuase they see the scene for what it is. For example, when i began not even long ago, like what, 6 months ago i felt completely different about it. Its like you see everything through rosy glasses. When i began to party sober, i noticed alot of things I was oblivious to before. I already feel completely diferent about the scene,I cant even imagine how those people that have been partying for years and seeing these kids all fucked up feel, and yet, still do the drugs, still go to the parties. Meh, thats only my opinion, and im still a newb so i could be completely wrong. Who knows
