I can't seem to go too long without starting up Cubase SX. I've got this particular song that needs something, you know a bassline or some percussion or something. I am out of ideas, It has potential to be a rockin track. I need to get a SH-101 or something so I can lay down a dirty bass..Rrrr, not having what you need sux.

Well, it's not everyday that I reply to my thread before anyone else, but I found a nice bassline, so maybe all the tweaking was not in vain.

When all else fails..... create your tempo swing naturally. just kill the quantize and drag every other midi note off the line just a little bit...

It can work wonders for basslines :)
