No contest! It would be a huge shame if Marty didn't get the credit he deserves on this one.

Brodeur for canada. When canada hasn't been good brodeur is the one that has kept them winning for sure.

Without goaltending you just can't win look at sweden, and than for a winning example look at the 96 world cup when Richter was so hot no one could score.

Just like in golf where you can't win if you can't put. You can't win without good goaltending. Ask sweden or the canucks haha

brodeur if he keeps putting up the numbers he has, and if hes still starting after his "injury". i dont see that keeping him out though, but it may hinder his performance to some degree. if he plays im sure the czechs will test him gloveside early and often

as someone said earlier id like to see them give it to mario.....but yea, dont see that happening

Mario has not done anything worth of an MVP. Other than leadership which the team is filled with to the top.

Brodeur is whats keeping this team alive, not mario. Hence Brodeur deserves the MVP. If not Brodeur than Sakic for team Canada.

So thats still not deserving of MVP status. Plus before you know it trust me Mario will be behind team canada operations like gretzky is right now.

If Finland wins it'll go to kiprusoff. If Canada wins with Brodeur in net, he'll get it. If Canada wins but Luongo plays, it could go to any number of players.. Sakic, Iginla, LeCavallier.. depends on who steps up on Tuesday.

lol dont get me wrong i love mario barring injuries he probably could of been even better than gretz

but he is not mario out there
he is about 3 steps slower than everyone and every chance he gets he uses the boards or stick or whatever to hold himself up
his leadership is bar none. and i am still happy he is on the team. canada is in infinite debt to mario
but he is definitly no mvp this year lol

my vote is the canada goalies, i mean how could u not vote for them
brodeur was unbelievable in the first 4 and then roberto saved our ass again in the semis.
if we didnt have these guys we would be in the same sinking boat as sweden

Well, yeah! If he's not there for our two most important games. Not his fault, but those are the breaks.

i think whoever plays goal for canada in the final should get it
if brodeur plays thats makes him 5-0 with a very impressive gaa
and if roberto plays well that means he stepped the fuck up for the 2 most important games

Ya I think Lecavalier has really brought hi s game up every since the Philly series the playoff's actually. Now he is growing accustomed to being the one to have pressure on him.

I think Luongo isg onna play but thats just my call
