Watching the morning news and apparently John McCaw has struck a deal to sell our beloved Vancouver Canucks. I thinks its to 2 buisness guys that are in construction here in Vancouver. The deal would be for the team and of course Gm Place. Lets see what pans out later on today.

i just heard about the news this morning! well it dosen't matter to me who the owner is. i don't care if it's the orca bay corp. or 2 rich canadian guys or even the brady bunch! as long as the canucks stay in vancouver and provide us with great and exciting hockey.

This is simple. The Canucks and any other team for that matter are always on the auction block. The canucks have been for sale sice the first day McCaw bought them. He has no interest in the sport he's purely in it to build a viable club that he can sell for a profit. He is a buisness man only looking at the team as an investment. He's lost alot of money in the process and he'd not be too smart ot sell the team now that it has actually started turning a profit. ust my thoughts.

whats wrong with raving in gm place? there not making any revenue now, specailly with teh lockout. theres a chance one of the big promo comanpanies could negotiate a good deal.

^^^ So where did that $25,000,000 profit from last season come from they'll be fine they aren't about to through a rave in GM Place so good luck with that they will probaly firer all there staff first
