Clash Of The Titans Official Press Release
First of all, I would like to apologize to all the ticket holders. I realize that when you purchase a ticket you expect the show to go on, regardless if whether or not it is a legal show, or underground (non-permitted illegal) show, you are angry and disappointed that it did not happen.
The venue was booked well over a month ago, deposit had been paid. I called the venue on Wednesday afternoon and was informed that the venue was double booked and since the other booking was for a wedding and was booked before my booking; our booking was cancelled. We spent all of Wednesday and Thursday looking for a new venue. By Friday we had a new venue that we were going to use only to find out Saturday at 6pm that the owner had decided that he did not want “this sort of event” in his venue. The trucks were loaded, DJ’s were in town and ready to go. We explored every other option to try to save the show, called every hall, community centre, and auditorium in the phone book. There was no space available to safely throw this show so we had no other choice other then to POSTPONE the event. There WILL be a makeup event; I haven’t had the time to really think of what exactly it’s going to be yet. I will post more details soon. In the meantime we are working along side other promoters to work out discounts for other events for our ticket holders. I find it a bit tasteless and hypocritical that other promoters have taken the opportunity to “kick me while I’m down”. Like some of those promoters I could have went ahead and thrown the show in a venue that would have been busted in a couple hours and just blamed it on the cops, but I chose not too. I could have thrown the party in a in a tiny venue and just packed in as many people as I could, but for safety reasons I chose not too. I could have moved the party in the middle of butt fuck nowhere, where half the people could not find it, not my fault, but again I chose not too. Since I decided to POSTPONE the show and not cancel it, there will be a makeup party, and there will also be discounts on other shows for ticket holders. Cancelled or postponed shows in the past have all worked the same way so that’s the way we will handle it as well. In addition, I will not be throwing together a club night or a 19+ only event, because I know a lot of the ticket holders are under age. Unlike some promoters, I recognize this fact and am not going to make a half ass attempt at appeasing only a small portion of the people that purchased tickets. This party was for my birthday, I wanted it to go on just as much if not more then anybody else. Anybody that knows me knows, that I was out every night flyering or doing something for the show. Again I apologize and I hope to see you out at the makeup show and other Money Entertainment events. Thanks to those of you that supported me, Money Money Entertainment corp.

Nicely put.
While I do hope we get some good making up (since I'm disappointed that the event didn't happen... duh), I'm definitely not putting anyone in my bad books over this. At best, it's party goodness. At worst, 20 bucks lost.

i know there were a lot of dissapointed people, but first off...its just a rave. thats it... a rave.. its not some life changing event...its not something major...its just a rave...and nothing more..
so hopefully people can try to accept this and just look forward to the makeup party money if u pull this off (which we're all sure you will)...then good for you. if u dont...watch out! hahahaha ;) ps: im glad to see that you had a fun birthday regardless

hmmm
nicely put..I know what you through trying to find an alternate venue at the last minute..My roomates and I tried to help you out..Called 46 different venues on friday and sat ..checked everything from paintball, lazer tag and RDS skatepark..I was looking foward to this party cause it was my bday weekend also..Good luck with the makeup party..I know whatever and wherever it will be it will be fun..

I must say the 1 phone call I recieved sayin there were rumours u jus decided to keep everyones $$ and have ur own lil party I addressed it as thats the lamest shit Ive ever heard and told them to wait it out and theyd be reinburst or hell it will go on. So thank u to everyone who bought tix off me and didnt call me Bitchen at me cuz I really didnt know what was happenin So Once again Thank u all
