Some of you kids can be soooo MEAN!!!
Most of us went through school as the generation being tought "whole reading" this means phonix was highly ignored... grammer as well. The idea of whole reading was to memmorize words as a whole rather then pick them apart and read each sound... can you see now why spelling can be such a problem? Also keep in mind 20% of ppl(fnk'ers) where born with learning disiblities (learning diffrences) minnor-sever. So try helping some of us out rather then playing point the finger at stupid game please. |

So you mean that you never did grammar sheets in high school? Your teachers didn't teach the required BC curriculum? If this is so, this problem needs to be addressed immediately. There is absolutely NO excuse for students not being taught the required elements of the curriculum. Not being taught the necessary elements can be detrimental to the continual education of each and every student. Rhia, I suggest that you write a letter to your school board stating that you are unhappy with the level of education you received. Please state the teacher's name(s) that you feel did not wholly cover the required curriculum. Also include the reasons and ways in which they did not teach what they should have been teaching. Every student has the right to an education, and there are curriculum requirements in place for a reason. |

No, there should not be a spell/grammar check for this board. Without said checks in place, Doom can easily pick out those who need to be harassed and demeaned for being idiots. In place, those checks would add untold minutes of inconvenience to Doom's day.
Once again, Doom votes no. |

didn't anyone listen in english class?!@#$ active: The only rule of english i don't adhere to normally is capitalization. (subject: rule of english is before, object: capitalization) passive: Capitalization is the only rule of english i normally don't adhere to. (object: capitalization is before, subject: rule of english) nice try though guys. and actually the active forms of sentences are more commonly used than passive voice. example: Active: "I like going to school." Passive: "School is what I like going to." Last edited by sidekick; Sep 23, 04 at 12:13 AM. |
