I don't think you quite get the point, I don't think it's the 'not seeing your name on anyone's hot list' that offends people, it's more the concept of the thread in general.
I'm sure a few other people like myself who have made another persons list find this annoying rather than offensive just because it seems so superficial.

Ya i do get your point. And ya its true. I personally think ppl are to superficial now a days, but hey, this is life. It didn't take this post to prove that a long time ago.
