why are ravers EVERYWHERE?!!
I can't go downtown withought seeing a raver,it's really scary...it happens almost every time..I hate it because It's alwasy one of those akward mometns when your like ok I know this person is a raver but I don't know/like them enough to talk to them, and then I just try to avoid the situation..it's not good times. But I never see ravers I'de actually like to see it's always the randomers...
does this happen to YOU?

Hahahahaha Courtney I forgot to tell you........
so I'm at work in the staff room eating lunch. I look up at the staff puter and see Rave Dj Kraig looking back at me. Some random guy that works w/ me was on fnk. I cried on the inside. I work w/ fnkers and I didn't even know it. So p.s. to the guy that works at Whole Foods and is an fnker.............I saw you, I know the truth. Now I think raver every time I see you. ohmigosh....so all the time. i went and got my hair done the other day---ex-raver...i went out for wings a couple weeks ago ,and saw a chick that i always see at raves (no idea who she is). ravers are everywhere! and notice how everyone you talk to "used" to rave? but its not "cool" anymore. but when they were our age it was....pffft. whatever. as long as youre in to the music, it'll always be cool, regardless. i guess some poeple must go for other reasons....hmmmm.

It seems that almost everyone is dressed like raver though these days, lets see if we can find a raver aka "waldo"

i remember this one day downtown that was just ridiculous.
every block i turned onto there was another raver that i recognized, then you have the awkward conversation trying to figure out what party you saw each other at and such. it's like seeing people you never talked to in highschool.

I agree with Myles, you guys always point the finger at ravers, yet you are one or used to be one, so dont think you are better then them because really they are just ordinary people like you and me. I dont mind ravers at all, I have gotten to know a lot of them and they are really decent working people just like you and me. I dont have any problems talking to ravers and im not ashamed to be one or to say I know them or call them my friends.
Now enough for the good ravers, there are some I wish I didnt know. Im not going to say I "hate" these types of ravers, id rather use the word "dislike", but I dislike the ones who just go to raves to get bloody shitfaced, stoned, high or all the above and who really arent their to listen to the music. The ones who could careless who is spinning or have respect for other people are the ones who I tend to dislike. I cant say I havent been completly shitfaced or higher then a kite at a rave, I mean probably about 90% of us have been there before, but the ones who just show up to do there drugs, hate and leave are the ones who I dissaprove of. I hope you guys/girls know what im trying to say, but im sure you get the drift. Now I know not ever raver is like this. Some are very nice people, who have nice lives, and who work hard and give back to society and who actually care for others, rather then not giving a fuck and just caring about themselves, but I tell you these kinds of people are getting harder and harder to find these days and its sad. I understand raves are very fun to go to and can get addicting, but im sick of people hating towards fellow ravers just because they might be a little different from me and you, but that still doesnt give you the right to hate on them when you havent even taken a few minutes to get to know them a bit. I just hate how people judge people differently because they are ravers. Last thing that bugs me quite a bit are the bum ravers, who dont have jobs and wont get one because it might take away from them having fun and it might interfear with there whole rave/party life. You know the ones im talking about, the ones are always asking to share your water because they cant even afford $2-3 dollars to keep themselves hyderated at a rave, ebcause they just spent there last $20-30 dollars on ecstacy so they can get high. The ones always bumming rides, not chipping in for gas money and the ones who always use you for certain things when they are broke as shit. I mean life throws us curveballs from time to time and we may have to throw money towards something we didnt expect to have to but thats life. I just hate these certain people im talking about who always mooch, you see them at every rave, and I cant say I havent given in and helped them out a bit or hooked them up once or twice, but really you guys are the ones giving the whole "ravers" a bad name so stop it. People these days are ashamed to be called a raver just because of type of people who make such a bad name to it. Well thats my input for now, and just how I feel, so hate on me, tell me to fuck off, criticize me, it doesnt really matter to me, its just my opinion. Bottom line is we shouldnt have to be ashamed to be a raver, and I know im not, and yes I see them everywhere, espically on the skytrain and all over town, kind of funny because I dont know them personally so I dont talk to them, but I reconize them. annnd the problem is??
i dont seem to have a problem with ravers and i have probably been parting for longer than u guys... can someone please explain this "jaded / bitterness" to me?.... i really dont get it. like everything else... who cares.
