haha ok that's the one argument i always laugh at. if you were say the florida marlins, minnesota twins or montreal expos that argument would be valid...but you're saying this as a red sox fan??? damon, pedro, ramirez, ortiz, schilling all had succesfull careers with other teams that wanted to unload salary. obviously the yankees salary is above and beyond boston's but to say they buy their team and boston doesn't is ridiculous.

I the Bo Sox pull this one off all I can say is WOW! who would have thunk it. but you know one thing we all seem to be over looking is that there is still a World Series to play and who ever comes out of this one alive will have a Bull-pen full of rubber arms from all the marathons they have been playing, and if the Cards pull it out and win a series they should have swept look out couse a rested team would have a hard time with that line-up. So forget the tired team that will come out of this one

GO BOSTON!! Anybody but the yankee's. Thats all I ask. Plus I would just love to see the Yankee's get beat by the RED SOX. More than anyone else to shutup any fans that the yankee's may have,.
