IMO seymour is a weak mountain until you take into account the backcountry there, which is pretty sweet. It's considered 'out of bounds' though. The problem I have with seymour is it's either really on or really off each season with snow, I've gotten season's passes there when it's been a really shitty year there for snow and it wasn't worth it at all. |

With the backcountry do you have to do a lot of hiking or is it partially chair accessable? |

Many (but not every.) times at whistler, in my personal experience it's snowboarders VS arrogant asshole german skiiers in spandexesque clothing that think they own the mountain |

i always get my pass at hmelock, but this year they doubled their price. i mean, its still the cheapest, but....not worth it anymore, and especially with no promise for snow this year. i think i'm gonna be getting night passes at grouse, seymour and cypress, and probably try to spend my weekends at good ole hemmy. its nice there, because theres no fake snow, and its not nearly as busy as the other places. and of course, at least one run up to whistler, for traditions sake.
hot damn! i am so stoked for boarding. i keep looking at my gear wistfully..... |
