VAG: "Massive Change"

Anyone been yet or intend on going? Thoughts? Walked by the gallery on my way to work yesterday and now I really want to see this :)

Massive Change is dramatic, engaging and critical, immersing visitors in a series of powerful encounters with the latest innovations in the fields of urban design, transportation, information design, revolutionary material and more.

The exhibition unfolds in a series of eleven general themes that address the fundamental role of design in all aspects of human life, from manufacturing and transportation to health and the military. i've heard alot of mixed reactions to this one.
some really really love it, others hate it. one of my buddies walked out half way through the exibit, didnt want to see the rest of it.
the mixed reactions i have heard makes me really want to see it and decide for myself.... i think i might hit it up next thursday.

been once, enjoyed it enough to stay for almost 4 hours. A lot of ideas you may have heard of or come across already are brought together making it a lot to take in. I'll be going again armed with a notepad this time!

it was good, but i would have been able to focus more if there weren't 100's of people milling their way about all throughout the exhibit.

since i have art gallery membership, maybe ill drop in some time during the normal population's working hours so that i can enjoy it on a more personal basis.

yuck, crowds.

the different sections/"economies": urban, information, transportation, energy, images, markets, materials, manufacturing, military, health, wealth and politics that are broken down into rooms filled with objects, images and displays that may educate, enlighten or even create heated debate among visitors.

i want to go. i will go.
