Christmas...
I actually hate celebrating the holiday because the meaning has been lost over the years.
When your little nephew/niece goes "Whatcha going to get me for Christmas?" something is wrong. It is WAY too commercialized now for my tastes. How about you? Last edited by MC Hammered; Dec 16, 01 at 12:08 PM.

i like spending time with my family and friends but i really hate how it's become so commercialized, and i don't like being EXPECTED to buy things for people i barely know. i like giving gifts but i like to do it randomly throughout the year, most of all when people don't expect it. makes it more meaningful, i think.
and this year i'm fucking broke! which makes it a little depressing.

I used to love christmas
Last year was awesome but this year i'm having a hard time getting into it. I love the food, theme, smell of a fresh christmas tree, presents and eggnog but I fear the malls and crazy christmas shoppers. I guess I hate crowded malls and the frenzy that certain people get into. People forget that it's a time to be thankful and a time to visit with family. They get caught up in the gift giving and go 2 g's in the hole.
Oh wellz I'm sure i'll have a good christmas despite all of that. :135:
